The Final Destination franchise is hotter than ever and now a seventh movie is in the works!
Final Destination: Bloodlines was released in theaters earlier this year and has become the most successful film in the franchise, grossing over $286 million worldwide. The movie was also a rare horror hit with critics, earning a 93% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Now, the movie’s co-writer, Lori Evans Taylor , is set to write the next installment of the series, according to The Hollywood Reporter .
The movie marked Lori ‘s biggest project to date. She previously wrote the screenplays for indie movies Bed Rest and Cellar Door .
Bloodlines rebooted the franchise after a 14-year absence and we hope we won’t have to wait nearly as long for the next film in the series.
