PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police announced the results of a drug bust targeting mid-level dealers on Friday, which led to the seizure of $70,000 worth of narcotics, 11 firearms, and the arrest of six individuals.

Deputy Commissioner Jim Kelly said the city has doubled its drug seizures compared to last year.

"Just the amount of fentanyl that's there (on the table) is 4,400 doses," Kelly. "But over the last year, in just 2025 from January on, we have recovered a total of $140 million of narcotics and that comes out to just out of the East Division alone, a million doses of fentanyl. Citywide we've recovered over $4.7 million of fentanyl throughout the city."

The surveillance operation began in June and led to the arrest of six suspects identified as:
