An outage affected people with EBT benefits Friday afternoon.

Viewers called 21 News about the issue around 3:30 p.m., saying they couldn't pay for their groceries.

A spokesperson with the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services told 21 News there was a short outage that has since been resolved.

The spokesperson did not elaborate on what caused the problem.
