DIX, N.Y. (WENY) -- A Rochester man was arrested after allegedly seriously injuring someone with a knife at Watkins Glen International Friday.

Gregory Harvey, 33, is charged with Assault, Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

According to the Schuyler County Sheriff's Office, Harvey allegedly got into an argument at the track and used a knife to seriously hurt his victim.

He was arraigned and is being held in the Schuyler County Jail on $40,000 cash bail or $80,000 bond.

Law enforcement says their investigation is ongoing and additional charges against Harvey are pending.

The Schuyler County Sheriff's Office says this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the safety of race fans at WGI.
