SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) - Upstate teachers and students are getting back into the swing of things at school. 7News spoke with a doctor who shared simple tips to help parents keep their kids on track.
Doctor Sonya Joseph with Spartanburg Regional said one of the most important, and often overlooked factors, is sleep.
"Sleep is very important for the overall well-being of our kiddos," she said. "It can help with concentration and creativity, mood regulation, and even help with their physical growth.”
Dr. Joseph said they may need more sleep than you think.
