Boil water advisory issued for Spartanburg Co. neighborhood

WELLFORD, S.C. (WSPA) - The SJWD Water District has issued a boil water advisory for some residents in the Brookside Village neighborhood.

SJWD said they advise residents in the Brookside Village neighborhood along Stone Drive to vigorously boil their water for at least one minute before consuming. It includes drinking and cooking.

The water boil is due to a water main break in the area. The water district said they do not believe the water has been compromised but residents should still take precaution.

Customers will be notified when the issue has been resolved.
