TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WFLA) — Florida's Department of Government Efficiency has been making its way around Tampa Bay for the past several days, combing through spending at the local government level.

DOGE says they've received allegations that counties and cities have been telling their staff to delete, alter, or fabricate information before on-site visits.

Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia is now warning that subpoenas and forensics investigations could be coming next. "We've heard allegations of this from numerous sources, enough where it concerns us in the CFO's office and the DOGE team for us to investigate it," Ingoglia said.

That's not the only push back the CFO has seen, according to Ingoglia, local governments have been placing conditions and restrictions on DOGE examinations
