This week was my last as editor-in-chief of BIV , making next week's print edition the last to carry my name on the masthead. It has been an honour to hold this role and contribute to a team that works very hard to keep our province informed, connected and accountable.

In the past year alone, we have published a new edition of BC500 , launched Lifetime Achievement Awards for our Forty under 40 alumni, kicked off our first impact partnership to support journalism on under-covered topics, set and then topped record-breaking online traffic, significantly expanded our events, grown our partnerships and grown our team. We did this while publishing a weekly paper, five unique newsletters, a growing roster of magazines and a very active online site in an extraordinarily challenging environme
