NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - An investigation is underway after one person was injured in a shooting in the Napier area on Thursday night, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
MNPD Hermitage precinct officers responded to 64 University Court just after 8:40 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

On scene, officers found a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment of his non-life-threatening injury.
No suspect was found at the scene, so MNPD is reviewing city cameras to try and locate the shooter.
This comes just two weeks after two people were injured in a shooting at the same address on July 25.
