Alexander Jensen knew exactly what Aberdeen’s Scottish Cup win meant when an emotional fan broke down in tears hugging him. ‌

The Dane was part of Jimmy Thelin ’s side that stunned Celtic to bring the old trophy back to the Granite City for the first time in 35 years. ‌

The defender knew it was big but it wasn’t until he bumped into a supporter, who explained what it meant to him, after a member of his family had died. ‌

Jensen said: “I bumped into a fan after the bus parade. I was going out for something to eat with my girlfriend and a friend.
