The Boys and Girls Clubs of Southwest Michigan has been awarded a $40,000 grant by the Taco Bell Foundation for its workforce development programs and graduation celebrations.

The Boys and Girls Club says the 2025 Community Grant will help ensure that club teens are not only prepared to succeed in the workplace, but also celebrated as they reach academic milestones.

The Taco Bell Foundation awarded a record-breaking $28 million in Community Grants this year to nearly 500 non-profits around the country, and this is the 12th year the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southwest Michigan has been a recipient.

The club says with the grant, it will expand and enhance its Life and Workforce Readiness programs for teens ages 13 to 18. The funding will support career exploration workshops, resume-building
