WYOMING — For all those in need of hearing aid assistance, the Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) announced on Wednesday, Aug. 6, that its new Wyoming Adult Hearing Aid Program is now open. The application period will close at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30.

The state-funded initiative, established by Senate File 57 , states, “subject to available state funding, the department shall provide hearing aids for eligible adults.” The health agency expects only 30 to 35 individuals to be assisted in the first year due to limited pilot funding authorized by the
