Excitement has been building all week.

A 12-foot statue is being unveiled for No. 12, Patriots legend Tom Brady. Check out live video of the statue being unveiled in the video player above.

It's fitting that Brady is the first Patriot to be immortalized in bronze outside of Gillette Stadium.

Brady's number was retired last year. The original plan was to have a statue then — so it's a little later than the team had been hoping for.

Robert Kraft is expected to host this ceremony with Tom Brady there.
