MODESTO, Calif. —

Central Valley Snowie , a family-owned business in Modesto, is asking for community support after a hit-and-run early Wednesday morning left their trailer demolished and their hard work scattered across Standiford Street.

The business, which has served food and desserts for the past five years, had left its trailer parked after giving out free desserts for National Night Out in Modesto.

Rafael Gonzales and Eva Alaniz, who work at Central Valley Snowie with their son who owns it, described the aftermath.

"All that was devastated. It was just taken. The trailer was demolished. All this stuff was thrown all over," Alaniz said.

Gonzales said their supplies were scattered across a block.
