The world's oldest alpaca in captivity, Hawthornden Wainui, is living a pampered life in New Zealand. His owners, Vicki and Alex Cordier, believe it's his calm lifestyle that's kept him going for so many years.

Guinness World Records recently officially named Wainui the oldest living alpaca in captivity, measuring for the award on July 6 when the senior animal was 27 years and 185 days old.
