PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Intel has responded to a social media post made by President Trump on Thursday morning, after its stock declined.
Trump's Truth social post said Intel's Chief Executive Officer was "conflicted" and called on him to resign.
The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment from KOIN 6 News. Later, they shared a letter that was sent to employees on their website.
"Intel's success is essential to U.S. technology and manufacturing leadership, national security, and economic strength," Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan said in the statement.
