CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools’ staff member is facing a felony charge after two guns were reportedly found inside a fanny pack at a local high school, according to arrest documents.
Those documents say an employee noticed the bag had been left unattended inside the Butler High School learning center. The school employee allegedly found a gun inside the bag when checking it for identification.
Principal Reeves was informed and located the owner of the bag, Butler’s AP Director Justin Moyer, along with a second firearm inside the bag, according to the arrest record. Moyer reportedly admitted that he was the owner of the bag and the pistols inside, according to the document.
