The Zepf Center received a $60,000 donation on Thursday from the Huntington Foundation that will support its Safety Net Runaway & Homeless Youth Shelter.
Shannon Loar, regional marketing and communications manager at Huntington National Bank, who presented the check, said the money will help uplift the program.
The funds will directly benefit runaway and homeless youth throughout northwest Ohio, providing them with a safe space to heal, receive trauma-informed support, and access vital health resources.
“This is the largest contribution from Huntington for us,” Zepf CEO Deb Flores said. “They wanted to be able to make an impact. To get $60,000 will make an impact.”
