TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Manatee County deputies said they located a body in a retention pond Friday.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, the body was located at the southbound off-ramp of I-75 and SR-70.

"The deceased appears to be a male, but the identity of the individual has not yet been confirmed," the sheriff's office said in a statement.
