FOXBOROUGH — After creating plenty of memories in Foxborough for 20 years, Patriots legend Tom Brady was immortalized outside of Gillette Stadium on Friday night.

Hours before New England opened its preseason against the Commanders, the Patriots unveiled a 12-foot statue of Brady outside of the team’s Hall of Fame — with the legendary quarterback on hand for the ceremony.

The statue — which is made out of bronze — features Brady with his right arm raised and his left arm clutching his helmet. In total, the statue and pedestal top out at 17 feet, honoring the 17 AFC East crowns that Brady won as a starter.
