There is a new scam alert from Boston's North End ahead of St. Anthony's Feast on Labor Day weekend.

Criminals online are duping people into paying for tickets for the free event and trying to recruit vendors.

One woman, who did not want to be identified, claimed by email she was tricked into buying a ticket to the festival via PayPal.

The person she referenced as a ticket contact in the email had a similar name associated with a Facebook post appearing to try and recruit vendors.
