Doehler Dry Ingredient Solutions, LLC, issued the voluntary recall on July 30 for its Freeze Dried Fruit Variety Pack. The product contains five strawberry pouches, five banana pouches, and five apple pouches. On Wednesday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) classified the recall as Class I, its highest risk level, meaning there is a reasonable probability that eating the product could cause serious health issues.
