LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Elizabethtown native Jansen Wilson said he always had a goal to play professional soccer. To be able to do it for the hometown team he grew up watching has been, in his word, "incredible." The club is very happy to have the dynamic, versatile scorer in its lineup.

He was a 14-year-old soccer-loving kid when Louisville City FC began playing in 2015.

"Oh it was amazing," Wilson said. "To be able to bring a professional team to this area, I think it helped grow the game for everyone around Kentucky. It was great for me, for my family (and) for soccer. It was just a really cool time. We would sit in the supporter section many, many games."
