DALLAS — California Congressman Kevin Kiley, R- District 3, is one of the many Republicans who doesn't agree with any effort to redistrict mid-decade, like what is happening in Texas.
And now that leaders in Democrat-run states such as California, Illinois and New York, are threatening to redraw their congressional lines to ice out the GOP, many blue state Republicans such as Kiley are growing increasingly alarmed that their seats will suddenly become vulnerable.
Kiley believes it all could lead to a nationwide redistricting war, creating election chaos.
“It’s going to be a big distraction from the important issues that we have to worry about as a country. I don’t think it’s good for representative government,” the Republican told us on Inside Texas Politics .
So, Kiley introduced
