PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - Pueblo is making sure finding a ride to school is not a reason students cannot get a quality education.

Pueblo School District 60 came to Pueblo Transit and asked them to help kids get to school and improve attendance numbers.

For several years, Pueblo Transit has been providing free rides to students throughout the city.

And while they say more and more kids are taking advantage of this resource, a lot of parents and guardians still do not know about it.

Now ahead of the school year, both District 60 and Pueblo Transit want to remind parents of this safe and convenient way for them to send their kids to school.

According to Pueblo transit, the majority of students in the city live within a mile or less of a bus stop.
