PHOENIX — Two teens are facing charges after being caught allegedly transporting a "large amount" of marijuana in Arizona, according to officials with the La Paz County Sheriff's Office.
The teens, 17 and 19 years old, were pulled over on Interstate 10 near Ehrenberg. Blythe Station Border Patrol agents found more than eight pounds of marijuana, 1,200 THC vape pens and 300 "marijuana cigarettes," La Paz County officials said.
The teens also had a handgun, according to officials. All were turned over to La Paz County officials.
The teens are facing state charges of possession of narcotics and a handgun.
