ALEXANDRIA — The last two Resorters Men’s Senior champions are set to battle for this year’s Men’s Senior title at the 104th Resorters Tournament on Saturday at the Alexandria Golf Club.

2023 Men’s Senior champion Jon Freeman beat Mark Lyczewski in extra holes to earn his spot in the championship, while the 2024 champion Steve Berg topped Chris Haugen in Friday’s semifinals.

Freeman def. Lyczewski, 19 holes

17th-seeded Freeman led 1-up after a birdie on hole No. 3, but Lyczewski, who is seeded fifth, tied the match on the next hole with a par.

Freeman birdied hole No. 5 to retake the lead, but Lyczewski tied the match on hole No. 9 with a par.

Freeman took the lead with a par on hole No. 15, but Lyczewski tied the match on hole No. 18 with a par to force extra holes.
