A state board voted Friday to revoke the medical license of a northeast Arkansas physician who it said engaged inappropriate sexual conduct in 2019 with three women, who were both staff members and patients.

In October 2024, the Arkansas State Medical Board issued a emergency order suspending the license of Dr. David Diffine -- owner of Diffine Family Practice in Blytheville -- accusing the doctor of violating the Medical Practices Act and board regulations, including physician rules about "engaging in sexual contact, sexual relations or romantic relationship with a patient concurrent with the physician/physician assistant-patient relationship" and "utilizing words or acts which sexually harass co-workers or employees or patients within the clinic or hospital setting."
