STEPHENS COUNTY, Ga. (FOX Carolina) - The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office reports arresting an Anderson County man in connection with a vehicle theft in July.

Deputies said they responded to a stolen property call from a business on Big A Road on July 28. The business owners said that a customer’s motorcycle and trailer were stolen around 5 p.m. on July 27.

Camera footage from the business owner revealed a truck with a South Carolina tag entering the parking lot and leaving with the motorcycle and trailer attached, according to deputies.

Investigators identified the suspect with help from community members and neighboring agencies as 30-year-old Cody Maxwell Stovall from Anderson. The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop and arrested Stovall on Wednesday, deputies
