An abandoned motorcycle in Melber turned out to be stolen on Friday morning.
McCracken County deputies were called to a residence on County Line Road where the motorcycle was found in a driveway.
Deputies made contact with the registered owner, and the motorcycle was determined to be stolen. Forty-three-year-old Joseph Wurth of Melber KY was identified as a suspect.
Wurth was interviewed by deputies and ultimately confessed to taking the motorcycle.
Deputies also determined that Wurth had a suspended operator's license, and a quantity of suspected marijuana was located on his person.
Wurth was arrested and lodged in McCracken County Regional Jail.
