Things just keep getting worse for the injury-riddled Dallas Cowboys .

According to ESPN’s Todd Archer, veteran guard Rob Jones suffered a broken bone in his neck during the Dallas Cowboys’ July 28 practice session and will miss the entire 2025 season .

Per Archer, the initial belief was that Jones could return after 2-3 months of recovery. The team is no longer counting on that, as Jones was placed on the injured reserve and will miss all of 2025.

The Dallas Cowboys signed the former Miami Dolphin to a one-year deal in free agency. Jones, who signed with Miami as an undrafted free agent in 2021, appeared in 49 games over his four years with the AFC East club.
