ALEXANDRIA — Two local golfers are going to battle for the Junior 13-15 division title in the 104th Resorters Tournament on Saturday at the Alexandria Golf Club – Ashby-Brandon-Evansville’s Traeton Nelson and Alexandria’s Henry Buttweiler.

Both golfers earned their ticket to Saturday’s championship with dominant wins.

Nelson def. Bell, 6-5

The No. 8 seed Josh Bell of Highland, Utah, won hole No. 1 with a par, but Nelson, the No. 5 seed, won the next three out of four holes. Nelson won hole No. 2 with a birdie, hole No. 3 with a bogey, and hole No. 5 with a par.

Bell won hole No. 7 with a par, but Nelson won the next five out of six holes to win the match, 6-5. Nelson won holes No. 8 and No. 9 with a par, then birdied hole No. 10.
