OVERTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — New details have been released after a woman's body was found in a burning refrigerator in Overton County.

Edward Randolph, 49, is behind bars for the murder of his girlfriend, 47-year-old Hope Parrott. Court documents obtained by News 2 stated that he admitted to killing Parrott on July 30 in his home.

"I loved her so much," Parrott's daughter, Cara Henry, told News 2. "She will be dearly missed, but not forgotten."

Court documents stated that after she was dead, he put her body in a refrigerator and loaded it into his truck before throwing it off in the area of Sunk Cane Road near Crawford. He then used a lighter to set it on fire, he told investigators.

"My mom didn't deserve this," Henry said. "She didn't."
