Friday’s preseason fixture between the Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons has been suspended following a serious injury to one of the players involved.

Lions defensive back Morice Norris was carted off the field and left the grounds in an ambulance after sustaining a head and neck injury in the fourth quarter of the game.

“The preseason game between the #Lions and #Falcons was suspended after Morice Norris was taken off in an ambulance because of an apparent head and neck injury,” NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport shared after the concerning incident.
