LOUDON, N.H. (ABC22/FOX44) - In just about six weeks time, the NASCAR Cup Series and the Craftsman Truck Series will return to New Hampshire Motor Speedway, this year for playoff races. But before that happens, members of the media from around New England got behind the wheel themselves for the Media Racing Challenge, an annual event where competitors aim for top speed. ABC22 & FOX44 will have coverage of NASCAR's race weekend in New Hampshire, starting Friday, Sept. 19, and finishing Sunday, Sept. 21 with the big race.
