A new farm shop and café that would be stocked with fresh and local produce is being planned in a pleasant Nottinghamshire village. The shop and small accompanying café will be set up on land off Bottom Green in the small village of Upper Broughton near the Leicestershire border if planning permission is granted by Rushcliffe Borough Council .
The scheme is being proposed by local farmer Nick Connors, who has operated a dairy at nearby Muxlow Hill since 1981 and would use its products to supply the new venture. The new farm shop would stock cheese and other products made using Muxlow Hill milk, alongside meat, vegetables, and other fresh
