Sophie Roberts-Long and wife Lilly, both 26, from Keyworth are among the lucky few
A young couple are among four households in a Nottinghamshire village that have won £250,000 each in the People’s Postcode Lottery . Sophie Roberts-Long and wife Lilly, both 26, from Keyworth , were inspired to take part after their friend's partner won more than £48,000 on the Postcode Lottery in Rotherham last December.
Now the pair have been left stunned after pocketing five times more through the lottery's Millionaire Street prize, which split a £1 million pot between them and three other neighbours. Sophie said: “A friend’s boyfriend won in Rotherham last Christmas . He won £48,000 and we thought we’d give it a go. Why not? We thought that 10 years later we’d still be waiting."
