BANDON, Ore--The 125th United States Women's Amateur is being decided at Bandon Dunes, Oregon.

The amateur started with 156 golfers, and it's down to eight.

One of those quarterfinalists is Springfield Catholic product Lyla Louderbaugh.

She's a junior at Kansas.

And was playing the world's top ranked amateur in California's Kiara Romero in match play.

Louderbaugh pars the fifth hole to even the match.

Then on 16, the Jayhawk swirls in this par putt to grab a two hole lead with two left.

But she ran into trouble on 17 and 18 and the match went into extra holes.

And on the 20th hole, Louderbaugh sinks this par putt to win one up.

She'll play in the semis Saturday.
