Cleveland scored 5 in the first inning, highlighted by C.J. Kayfus’ bases-clearing double.
Carlos Santana had 2 hits and drove in four.
Civale gave up 9 runs in 3.1 innings, dropping to 3-7 on the season.
Tanner Bibee (8-9) went 5.1 innings for the win.
