DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A DeKalb County police officer was shot and killed Friday during an active-shooter incident at a CVS across from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s main campus near Emory University, officials said.
Interim Police Chief Greg Padrick confirmed the death during an evening news conference, identifying the fallen officer as 33-year-old
