Bills' QB Josh Allen breaks silence on James Cook's contract negotiations, hold-in

The Buffalo Bills' leader has spoken.

Josh Allen made his first definitive comments on James Cook's ongoing contract hold-in on Thursday in a press conference with reporters.

The MVP quarterback shared very honest, fair thoughts on what Cook is going through.

“This is generational stuff," said Allen , who recently got a massive deal of his own. "It's for you & your family. He’s still going through mental reps. He's a pro; he knows what he's doing. We desperately want him out there.”

Cook expressed early in the offseason that he'd like $15 million per year. That doesn't appear to be forthcoming.
