Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and another injured.

Officers were called around 5:51 p.m. Friday to the 3000 block of Woodley Road after receiving a call that people had been shot. That area is close to South Boulevard.

Once they arrived, they found an adult male with a life-threatening gunshot wound. The unidentified male victim was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Officers also made contact with another adult male with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No word on suspects at this time.
