University of Florida holds commencement ceremony for summer graduates

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Summer commencement ceremonies are underway at the University of Florida.

Ceremonies started Friday night at the O’Connell Center for many bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students.

A second ceremony is planned for the O’Connell Center on Saturday morning, honoring graduates of the Agricultural and Life Sciences, Education, Liberal Arts and Sciences and College of Business programs.

A procession starts at 9:30 a.m. with the main event scheduled to begin at 10.
