HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – It's the birthplace of Major League Baseball spring training and now it's the reason that hundreds of tourists like Byron Rushton pack the Spa City each year.

"It's actually pretty cool to see all the plaques around town and to see the way that you guys look back on baseball," Rushton said.

Everyone is eager to see some of the best 14-year-old baseball teams go head-to-head in the Babe Ruth League World Series.

"I'm looking forward to getting the games going and seeing the kids here playing and finally getting on the field here playing," Rushton said.

Rushton is one of many supporting the teams from the stands and the city through their wallets, making baseball weekend a home run for local hotels and businesses like the Ohio Club.
