Douglas Foster, 91, was called to his eternal resting place on August 4, 2025.

He entered this world on January 22, 1934 in Wheeling, WV, born to Harry and Ada Foster. He spent most of his life in the Wheeling area.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline in 2022.

He is survived by his son Douglas Foster (Lisa Capper); daughter Lisa Nero (Scott Quashnie); grandchildren Ashley Astrino (Ron), Jonathan Foster, Emily, Chelsea, Cheyenne, Nathan, Grant, and Olivia, and sister Sharon Dines.

Douglas worked as a Construction Worker for 25 years with Local 1149 of the Teamsters Union, and in the coal mining industry, retiring from the EPA after 14 years. A Korean War Veteran, he served in the Air Force from 1952-1956. Later in life he paid his respect for his
