LINCOLN COUNTY, Mo. — The family of a woman killed in a wrong-way crash in April of 2023 has sued the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, alleging the deputies "unleashed" the other driver involved in the crash.

On April 29, 2023, 23-year-old Racheal "Grace" Neldon and three teens were killed when their cars crashed head-on on Highway 79 near Route C. According to the lawsuit, the teen driver of one of the cars was ushered out onto the road by deputies after the deputies broke up a nearby house party.

According to the lawsuit, deputies were called to a home on the 2300 block of Highway C for a peace disturbance call. When they arrived, they saw dozens of juveniles partying at a house.
