Motorists are being warned a stretch of the M6 through North Staffordshire could be closed for 'most of the morning' following a collision. Emergency services had been called to the northbound carriageway last night where a lorry had overturned.
This morning and National Highways says the recovery of the lorry involved is ongoing with officials also dealing with the subsequent fuel spillage. The closure is in place between Junction 14 and Junction 15.
Meanwhile officers with Staffordshire Police's road crime team say that thankfully no injuries have been reported. Cops sent to the scene also shared an image of the lorry on the carriageway. National Highways had confirmed the northbound closure at around 10.30pm last night.
