A magistrate judge on Thursday set bond at $75,000 for Aspen resident Nathan Keen, less than one day after he surrendered to the Pitkin County Jail on a warrant for felony kidnapping and assault charges.
After a 12-day manhunt involving local and state authorities, Keen, 38, turned himself in after 9 p.m. on Wednesday, easing fears in the community that he might get away after he and Vanessa Leighton, 41, of Aspen, allegedly kidnapped and assaulted a woman over a three-day span in early July.
