ORLANDO, Fla. — A man authorities described as a Colombian drug lord wanted in more than two dozen killings was arrested in Orlando, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced Thursday.
Guillermo Perez-Alzate, according to ICE, is a former paramilitary leader of the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia criminal organization, which uses drugs to finance their operations, in Nariño, Colombia. A post from ICE on X described him as an “illegal alien” and said “It’s time for him to face the consequences of his heinous crimes!”
