CRYSTAL FALLS — Motocross enthusiasts have a reason to descend upon Crystal Falls near the end of August as history will be made when Valley Raceway hosts two premier racing events: the first-ever U.P. 2-Stroke Championship and the inaugural American Motorcyclist Association U.P. State Championship.
Set to take place on Aug. 23-24, the back-to-back races should attract top talent from across the region, offering AMA-sanctioned points for both District 16 and the Superior MX Series.
This is the first time an AMA U.P. State title will be awarded. Champions in each class will be awarded a coveted No. 1 plate, marking their place in U.P. motocross history.
“We’re excited to bring a weekend of high-energy, family-friendly motocross to Crystal Falls,” said Eric Uren, owner of Valley Raceway.
